Arihant & Apurva
Umaid Haveli, Jaipur
February 2019

This wedding remains close to our hearts, as it was our first destination wedding! This journey took us to Jaipur, where we gave them the grand, fun-filled wedding they had always wanted. Their dream kicked off ours.

Arihant & Apurva’s story begins a few years back when they met at a party and became friends on Facebook. When they met they went for coffee and since that day, they’ve stuck with each other through thick and thin. They both are each other’s best friends and soul mates at the same time. While they both feel lucky and blessed to be together, they also complete yet bring out the best in each other and wouldn’t want to have it any other way!

The #AriKiApu wedding was hosted at the Umaid Haveli, Jaipur and it was one cheerful and heart-warming celebration. While the couple enjoyed the best time of their life to the fullest with their loved ones, YDD and team made sure to make their wedding phenomenal.

Mehendi & Haldi Ceremony

The Mehendi & Haldi ceremony decor was simplistic and done in different hued marigold flowers with a touch of greens.

Sangeet Ceremony

This unique night witnessed bling, class, and exquisiteness that’s purely unmatched. The guests grooved the night away in their tuxedos and gowns.

Rajasthani Mela

This Rajasthani themed mela was a riot of colours and quirky elements giving off traditional vibes. A classic seating, mixed colourful seating lounges, multi-hued drapes with unique cascading elements, carpets etc., marked the entire decor along with fun games and live stalls.

This event was unique as it was for the groom’s mother as her brothers came together to give her “Mayra”. It filled our hearts with joy when the groom’s mother walked under a beautiful blanket of flowers, alongside her brothers.

The Wedding & Reception

The traditional wedding was followed by a grand and exuberant reception at the J Oberoi Garden and Banquet, which was an all glamorous affair.

Our Experience

Let’s be real: destination wedding planning can bring a whole set of challenges that you wouldn’t face with a traditional hometown wedding. But the good news is, destination weddings are always SO worth the extra effort. Especially, when both the families are super supportive and helpful. Designing a wedding in Jaipur was altogether a new experience for us. It is a city with culture, warmth and full of hope.

We as planners always say that we become the extended family to the couple but with this wedding, they made us a part of their own little family. Our power couple – Arihant & Apurva were always up for new things and they truly did believe in us. They relaxed, had fun and lived their precious moments, isn’t how your wedding is supposed to be?
